Mehdi Kabook was a 31-year-old composer and programmer who was killed by security forces in the Tehranpars neighborhood of Tehran on January 9, 2026. مهدی کبوک، آهنگساز و برنامهنویس ۳۱ سالهای بود که در ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در محله تهرانپارس تهران به دست مأموران جمهوری اسلامی کشته شد. این تازهداماد تنها سه روز پس از مراسم عروسیاش بر اثر شلیک مستقیم به سر و چشم جان باخت. مادر او در تماسهای رسانهای از مظلومیت و بایکوت خبری فرزندش در جریان اعتراضات سخن گفته است.
